Ray Bartholomew moved to the Horkan ranch in 1929, where he had 17 sections in sheep lease and 4 in farming lease. He broke 500 acres of sod and seeded flax and then alfalfa each year. He also raised sheep. He moved to Miles City in the spring of 1931. At the present time he resides in Lewistown, Montana.
