The title of this thread makes little, if any, sense.

Please stop confusing me, Bob. It hurts.

I love how the little girl's dress - and her dolly's - are made out of the same carpet remnants. That's just gotta itch!

It explains the frumpus face, though.

Lulz.

And I bet Santorum's son NEVER gets beaten up at school.

He's scanning the crowd for bullies. He's got his tear-away Underoos on, too. You can never be too prepared.

That is one screwed up looking bunch for sure.

The best part (and most telling) is that Santorum is completely oblivious to the misery and suffering that surrounds him.

He has his eye on the prize, and clearly that's all that matters, even when his own family's happiness is at stake.

Does anyone else see the poignant symbolism inherent in this photo should the man become Commander in Chief? Frightening...

I just looked at Mr. Santorum's Wikipedia page for a refresher. I had almost forgotten how much of a nut the guy really is.

You'd think that his 18-point loss in 2006 would have scared him off. Pity.

What I'd like to know is this: Do pod people have birth certificates? I mean, can we really ever know for sure where he was born?

I have a few thoughts on this subject but I'll reserve comment for a little bit later.

Come on, Kyle!

Santorum's a REAL conservative. He hates the homos too!

Maybe he and Palin will form an invincible ticket! Or not.

Maybe he and Palin will form an invincible ticket! Or not.

You have a typo there, Bob. That should be "invisible" ticket. Or maybe "indefensible" ticket. But invincible? Nah.

Really loves dogs?

Or REALLY loves dogs?

Because there is a difference...

Word on the street is that he loves dogs like Wendy loves colonoscopies.

The title of the post is misleading, in that it assumes certain unproven facts. Namely, that there IS a future for the Republican Party. The jury appears to still be out on that, as they rant and scream like crazies at public appearances. And then also, they have people going to town halls and yelling incoherent thoughts about health care, immigration, and socialism/fascism (interchangably).

I keep going back to that picture Mom looks like a stroke victim, I'm sure big sis is a cutter, the boy looks like he got an even money shot at working the men's room at some rest area and the little girl will me in the boobie hatch before her next birthday. Can you spell dysfunction? He's got my vote, He'll be way to busy putting out fires at home to mess with us, and that's all I ask of my elected officials.

Chuck:

To be fair, this picture was taken at Santorum's concession speech in 2006 when the incumbent senator Santorum was trounced by Bob Casey, of all people.

It was shown live on all of the networks and was one of the greatest moments in the history of political TV. I laughed for a good 15 minutes while watching the little girl weep uncontrollably.

Yes, I'm the bad guy.
