Glendive still has both homecoming and prom kings and queens; 99% of the time, they're the same two each time! Gee, go figure!

Pretty sure she meant the same king and queen for both prom and homecoming. As in two people. Not just one person.

I read what Wendy read....the king and the queen are the same person 99% of the time in Glendive.
I suppose that saved them some money....somehow.
