I hope they bring back my favorite character of all time ... Roberto!

Kyle - get back to your multiple threads about reef-fodder Apple crap. Or wherever you spend your time when you're avoiding baseball discussions.

And you call yourself a geek! Pish-posh!

Yeh.....don't make us open Zapp Brannigan's Big Book of War.

BTW: Futurama is a snooze-fest.

Uh huh. Don't lie, Kyle ... it's not becoming. Besides, you've posted on other topics in the interim.

BTW: Futurama is a snooze-fest.

Again, be honest ... it's just too high-brow for you. There's no shame in it - my sons don"t get all the jokes, either.

Actually Brian I have been busy. Believe what you will.

I still think Futurama is dull.

But Kyle, in the time it took you to post on this thread and the Apple threads, you at least could have unleashed an (feeble) attempt at a one-liner at me. C'mon, man!

This is indeed good news.

Now, if Comedy Central would only pick up King of the Hill....

You know after all these years, I am still on the fence about King of the Hill. First, Peggy is from Montana, and I JUST HATE THAT. Embarrassing. Second, I can't stand how Bill is so damned whiney. I do like Boomhower though. Somedays it is good, others I have wasted a small chunk of my life.

Now Family Guy, coupled with South Park, are two of the best shows ever. I was once working with an Ethiopian kid and he was PO'ed about Starvin' Marvin, a brief character on South Park. Then he admitted he laughed when they satirized the Mormons, Catholics, illegal aliens, blacks, .... I pointed out how hypocritical he was being, he laughed and admitted it was funny.

Quagmire and Boomhower are the best supporting actors. Love it.

I never have really gotten into Futurama. Just doesn't strike my fancy, but I do watch it occasionally.

And for the record, there are a lot of guys like Boomhower in Texas. I have worked with several of them with that hard to understand gibberish dialect.

Boomhower the best supporting actor?!? No way! That honor HAS to go to Dale Gribble.

I just watched the Manger Babies episode last Sunday....and when Dale decided to write a bestselling children's book about the AK-47 who cared....I LMAO.

Comedy Central needs to pick more of these types of shows, so they can get rid of the 3+ hours of "Scrubs" reruns they seem to show everyday.

Scrubs. Blecch. What a lousy show. Scrubs reruns today are what Wings reruns were 10 years ago.

I wouldn't go that far, Gunnar. The best Scrubs episodes are pretty damned good. Beats the hell out of Friends and Seinfeld, that's for sure. Those shows became dated very quickly.

Too much whining/implausible neuroses.

Comedy for the aged, perhaps.

It's a cartoon set in the year 3000, Wendy. It's not supposed to be plausible. Yeesh!

And yes, after 14 years of quality programming, dammit, Comedy Central needs to pick up King of the Hill.

And still the greatest Hank Hill line of them all:

"Soccer is a game European ladies play while their husbands make dinner."

Best Bobby Hill line:

"I made the football team!... A pan of brownies."

Ahhhh! The Great Cotton Hill..

I got my shins blowed off by a Japan-Man's machine gun, so don't come cryin' to me with your problems!

I killed fity men in WW2

And my favorite;

I don't take no anesthetic. Did Lincoln ask for any girlie gas when they blowed his head off?"

I loved it on King of the Hill when Boomhower's brother, aka Brad Pitt, comes to town. That's one of the best.

Scrubs is hit or miss for me, but some times it gets me!

You guys don't get cartoon network? They run like 2 hours of KOTH every night. I usually fall asleep to that or Family Guy. Futurama was a great show but it didn't last long enough to be on a daily syndication loop. I've probably seen every episode 5x now due to reruns so I don't usually turn it on.

I think South Park has really gone downhill in the last 3 or 4 seasons.
