Well, I went to the library today and bought a brick for the expansion. I challenge every ex-pat on this site to do the same. I'm sure you can do it over the phone. This is a great project and benefit to the community. Buy a Brick!!

Way to go, Wendy. I'll get right on that. I've always wanted my very own brick, and if buying one supports a good cause, so much the better.

One question: Did you do this over the internet, or are you in town?

How much are the bricks?

More importantly, can we throw said brick through the window of a Miles City business that does not give us the service that we expected/promised our family members?

Just pry one out of their building. The Olive needs a place for a pimento anyway.

On a completely unrelated note, my favorite rap lyric of all time is:

I'll snatch him out of his truck
Hit 'em with a brick
And I'm dancin'

(from Dr. Dre/Ice Cube, Natural Born Killaz)

Or, as my uncle always liked to say: "Give you a break? I'll give you a brick!"

Good. Not I Wanna Riot. But good.

What are we expanding, anyway?

Good. Not I Wanna Riot. But good.

I'd never heard that song before, Rick. I like it. At least the lyrics to it. Can't say I'm a big Rancid fan.

I may be a big rancid fan, but not one of Rancid.

Gunnar, are you referring to Brandt Info Tech?

Hmmmm....don't know if I would care to listen to that over and over again. Kind of a horrible memory.

Yes, it was a horrible memory. I never said it wasn't.

The reason I like the song is because it's so cartoonishly over-the-top. I certainly don't take it seriously enough to think of it as some sort of motivational speech.

The library expansion is called "Bring the Children into the Light," and will utilize the old bookmobile garage area to build a beautiful, spacious, brightly lit area for children and teens. Work has already begun.

Brick prices range from $50 to $1000. It is a wonderful way to honor someone for many years.

Contact the library at 234-1496.

Yup. John and Wendy right you are. Time to get down there and get a brick. I know the wife and I were talking about it, but I'm not sure if anything ever got done. I need to sign the girls up for the summer reading program anyway, so I can check on the brick -- get two birds with one brick, ah, stone.

Steve and I bought one. Mom wants me to buy one, at least, in memory of grandpa, who was quite fond of the library when he first came to Miles City.

Yes, Steve, I was in town but I snuck out under cover of darkness.

This is a great opportunity. I've often been told I'm one brick short of a load.

No way, Kelly. You've always been fully loaded.

BTW, I should've looked you up while I was in town. Time just got away from me. Maybe next time.
