Can Miles City afford to not have a microbrewery?

According to a survey conducted by Travel Montana:

- - 54% of nonresidents considering a trip to Montana cited visiting a microbrewery as something they would "most likely" do while in the state

- - 17% of the nonresident respondents reported that visiting a microbrewery would be a "primary reason" for their visiting the state

A follow up survey found that 13% of the respondents actually did go to a brewery while visiting Montana.

How many tourists are not stopping in Miles because the community lacks a microbrewery?

A stat that was left out:

5% of the nonresident respondents reported that 28 days in a treatment facility would be a "primary reason" for their visiting the state.

Clearly Hal should move back to MC and open a microbrewery. Preferably on the old Cellar Casino site.

I am sure Gunnar would lend some expertise! I loved the Lemon Grass that MC Brewery used to make.

Has anyone been to the tap room in Wibaux?

Thumbs up on the porter!

With Levi putting up the venture capital and Gunnar providing the expertise (and me staying well away from the operation), there might be a chance of success.
