I was trying to find a YouTube video for the Reverend Horton Heat's "Eat Steak" but found this instead.

The man blows me away. He couldn't have been more than 19 years old when this was filmed.

I find it kind of interesting that the stage has chicken wire in front of it, presumably to protect the band from hurled beer bottles, etc. I've been to some pretty skeezy places, but have never run across chicken wire. I've seen it lots in movies, set primarily in the south. Has anyone ever been to a show with chicken wire?

BTW great clip

Played in a C&W band behind chickenwire at the Jimtown Bar several times.Never got anything thrown at us but one guy did walk up to the front of the stage and showed us a pistol stuffed in his waistband.Looked around at the rest of the band-bass player, lead player and drummer never missed a beat-one hand jukin',one hand holdin' pistols.I had no idea anyone was packin'-I didn't even have a knife for a gunfight. The owner caught on immediately and the "gentleman" was disarmed and literally ejected from the premises.
