There are times that a cow pie or paco would hit the spot but I can't get to the Crystal Pistol. Anyone have a copycat recipe I could try to make them at home?
I make pacos, using frozen bread dough. It's easy to use the frozen rolls... let them rise and then "knead" them out to a circle... then, put taco meat and cheese in the middle and fold--like a paco...and pinch around the edges... Then bake on about 350 until they're brown... it's quite easy. If you don't want to make then, I know you can buy the "cowpie" ones at Reynolds... they're in the freezer section by the hot pockets.
You can buy both cowpies, and pacos (in 2 sizes) @ Reynolds. You're right they are in the freezer section, bottom shelf, by hot pockets. OR,,, the deli also cooks pacos everyday. So if you don't want to buy a whole box, buy one or two from the deli. Hot & Ready
