She was banned, however I restored the posting privledges of anyone suffering the fate who appeared on the "Top 20" lists. That amounted to:

1. "StoveGirl" - who I'm sure would love to gut me, and rip out my heart

2. "Van" - I don't even recall why he was banned

Oh Lord, that would require a book.

I remember a "Mike Van" getting the gate, here's the thread:

Guessing it's the same guy, but not sure.

Vignette version then? Pamphletize it if you like.

Forgive my lack of expertise in this area, but what does the "O/T deleted" thing that Van did do?

I don't think "Mike Van" and "Van" are the same person.

O/T means "Off Topic". When I edit a message posted by someone else, I typically put a reason something like:

[deleted - duplicate]
[deleted - o/t]
Etc.

Mike Van wrote a message with [o/t deleted] in it, basically to make it appear as if I removed part of his post. After I told him not do it again, he then did this:

http://milescity.com/foru...5690#35779

Which got him booted.

In regards to StoveGirl, let's just say no one tells her what to do. (She made that pretty clear.) I eventually ended up completely blocking the IP address of not only her home but also her place of employment (in Nebraska or something). After that, she had no way to access the server.

Somewhere around that timespan, Rubberbandman was also running wild, and I ended up deleting a bunch of messages to get things back under control. So I'm not sure how much of the conflict is still on here.
