For anyone who wanted a tour of the region our webmaster worked at here it is. Video taken circa 1990's.

At around the 1:30 point I think I spotted him in there.

(Dang I should've put this in the "Humor" section. Webmaster can you correct this error?)

Haha, those are classics. I wish Almost Live hadn't got canceled.

David, what's funny is that when the last segment of COPS in Kent was playing my girlfriend and I cringed when they were talking about turning the channel off of Matlock.

We live in Kent (close to the Caveman incidentally) and it's one of our favorite shows.

East Seattle must be what Sarah Palin would consider the "pro-American" part of Seattle.

Kyle, I haven't been to the Caveman in ages but I did have a burger at the place formerly known as "Mountain High Hamburger" just a few days ago. I guess it's now called "Country Burger & Teriyaki". It's on Meeker St. just west of 167. Perhaps you know the place.

Bob, Bellevue's city nickname is "The Land of Lexus".

David, I know the place exactly. It's only a few yards from an AM/PM. What I love about the Caveman is seeing the aerial shot of the Caveman from about 30+ years ago. It's nothing but farm land. Too bad they couldn't have kept it that way.

Isn't that Bill Nye the Science Guy in the Kent video?

Yep, it is. He was one of the characters on Almost Live.

I think the show started going downhill when they started appearing on Comedy Central. They started getting away from the local/regional jokes that made the show what it was. I think that was around 1995 or so.

It just wasn't the same after that.

There are times like these that I really miss Seattle. I grew up in Seatac and while I don't totally miss it, I do at times. I'm looking forward to coming over there in May.
