Takes me back to 1979 when the Mission Mountain Wood Band played at the fairgrounds. "Oh I'll go in without knockin' to the first bar that I see..." ...anyone else remember that show?

Good to see a bluegrass festival in MC. Maybe in time I will eat my words when I scoffed at MC becoming an artsy town...

your website says its $20 for the day to enter. I am hoping its $7 like you posted here. $20 for 5 bands is great, but I wanted to clarify.

Also, can we bring in coolers? If you have food vendors, great, but my kiddos would need several snacks as well in order for me to watch all the bands. I noticed last night you were in the home ec building- are you moving outside today at all?

I think festival and I think sitting on the grass on my blanket with a cooler and cruising for some cool craft stuff in booths and dancing to some great live music. Yes?

Lincoln, Check the previous posts for the date and think inflation. Sadly, Miles City Books and News is long gone. Oh, so are the Sagegrass Ramblers and 2004.

There will still be banjos.

I saw MMWB when I was 16 years old...circa 1977. They performed in Livermore, Iowa. I was blessed to see Montana perform TWICE in the same small town many years later. Just the suggestion of Mission Mountain Wood Band/Montana, and it reminds me of the shows. Livermore, Iowa...just a scant little town in Iowa where the population TRIPLED when they came to town!! I will NEVER FORGET these memories!!
