I saw this on NBC news last night and spit up my beer.

McCryptKeeper stated that Palin's executive experience IN THE PTA qualifies her to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Don't believe me?

Here's the transcript:

WILLIAMS: You've heard the commentators, I know, and by repeating it I mean no disrespect. A 72-year-old cancer survivor picks a not yet one full-term governor of Alaska - is she the best person to be, literally, a heartbeat away from the presidency, Senator?

MCCAIN: Well, let me just point out facts are funny things. She's been in elected office longer than Senator Obama. She's been the chief executive of the state that supplies 20 percent of America's energy. She has balanced budgets. She's had executive experience as governor, as mayor, as city council member, and PTA.

You can't make it up. I once was an executive in the local Optimist Club. I guess I've at least got a shot at a Cabinet position

Hey Howdy:

Nice.

The crazy web site you linked to parroted Cindy (Mrs. CryptKeeper) McCain's disastrous appearance on ABC this weekend.

Foreign policy experience = being governor in a state that's close to Russia and Canada.

Once again, you cannot make it up.

"I guess I've at least got a shot at a Cabinet position"

You might get a position as a shot in a cabinet...

I am an Obama supporter, and I will stack up Obama's experience to McCrusty.

And Palin, as well.

Experience isn't the winning argument, Bob L, but the issues are....just a suggestion from little ole me...
for example there are so many NON ISSUES....(experience is one IMO)...also....getting nasty about the 17 yr old daughter being preggers is easily argued by remembering that when Obama was 17 he used cocaine and grass...there are many many non issues which is why I keep saying "go back to the issues at hand"....which makes sense to me...

Hey Richard, aren't you the one who thinks Obama is a pirate?

What kind of math did you use to come to that conclusion?

You must have never dealt with people on the topic of their children if you think leading the PTA doesn't require leadership. I would rather deal with the UN than a bunch of soccer moms any day.

Oh and congratulations Bob on making a post with something besides insults in it. May be a first. Of course the insults are still there but it's progress.

Go _____ yourself.

How's that?

I hate to be a nit-pick but that's not technically an insult. Just a rude statement. But then there aren't really any rules to this sort of thing.

I've managed several high dollar projects that encompassed over 100 different groups of people all performing separate tasks that were inter-dependent. Each of these groups had anywhere from 4 to 20 people working geographically across 56 different offices scattered across 16 different countries.

Each project came in on time and under budget. I could run a PTA organization in my sleep.

I am not even remotely qualified to be President of the United States of America.

Since she is far more than just a PTA member, like the Gov. of Alaska, this thread would seem to be moot. So far, in her political life, she has done well, and hasn't been afraid to tackle corruption which occurs on both sides, which gets my respect no matter which party she belongs to...I am a liberal but am learning to respect Gov. Palin's abilities..Does that mean I will vote for her....I don't know ...but the more she is personally attacked, the more of a sympathetic figure she becomes...and that can be quite dangerous...IMO

If anyone had said leading the PTA qualifies you to be the president you might have a point there. I do feel that it is valuable leadership experience however. If you've ever tried to lead a group of volunteers, you will find it's a lot different than leading a group of people whose paycheck you have control over.

Before people fall for the sympathy ploy, I hope they remember how rewarding it was to vote on fear last time around.

I didn't vote on fear last time, but I might vote on sexism this time....Time will tell...

The whole sexism thing just doesn't seem to fit, if you ask me, which you didn't.

What I see is mass manipulation feeding off the disenfranchised Hillary supporters to throw this election towards the Republicans, who really offer no advancement for women's interest (equal pay, reproductive rights/protection, leaving the toilet seat down).

Two months ago, if you would have asked me, which no one did, again; I would have said the Democrats have this election hands down, but it's not suprising how things stand now.

Elections, blah!

Bird season opened yesterday!!!!!!!!

Somehow I am not surprised you don't see the "whole sexism thing..." This entire election has been full of it and many folks are sick of it...Not just Hillary supporters...I don't even recognize the old DNC anymore...Feminism used to be a part of progressivism, and still should be...otherwise it is kinda a "fauxgressive"...
