Can you tell me why you are doing a benefit for your daughter? I do not know your family.

My daughter Emily has a brain disease called Chiari Malformation. Chiari is pronounced (Kee-are-ee).

Chiari Malformation occurs when the bottom of the brain comes out of the skull. It cuts off the brain fluid and it cannot get to where it needs to be.

Emily has had five operations. Four in New York and the last one (about ten days ago) was done in Seattle.

You can get more information about Chiari Malformation by going to http://www.chiaripeople.org

Thank You,
CT

It's being held next SATURDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 9th at the ARTS and HERITAGE CENTER at 8 pm

It's a FREE CONCERT but we will take donations for Emily's Benefit Fund.

It's outside so bring chairs, blankets, or you can sit on the grass.

I won't be able to come but I have to say Cynthia, you have been a godsend for my daughter and her speech therapy. Without you, we still would not be able to understand her and she loves to see you when you come to daycare. I will donate $50 to this beautiful cause on behalf of my business, lia sophia jewelry. Just let me know where to drop off the check and I will get it to you. I truly wish I could be there but I have 2 shows that day, one in Miles City and the other in Terry. I will try to make it back in time to go to the concert. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to call me. I will even bake some cookies or something if you want to have a dessert table. You can put whatever price on them you want. If you want to do a fundraiser, I'm on board with that too. I will work on the details and get back to you.

God Bless all of you!

Emily is the bravest kid I know. She sports a great smile, the coolest haircut you will ever see and sings like a bird. I hope you all can make it.

Chris isn't aware of this yet but we have gained a bass player to add to our music. Brian Gregory will be joining us on bass.

Do you know how to tell if the stage is level?.....The drool will run out of both sides of the bass players mouth at the same time.

And a wonderful cook. She made (all by herself) the best peanut butter balls to donate to the Relay for Life Italian Dinner. They were the hit of the dinner

And great Artist. She decorated our Aprons for the dinner and helped with the dinner.

Oh man Brian now I am dreaming of how good the PB balls were.

I would like to thank everybody that came out to our Concert for Emily.
Tucker, Jackie, Brian and Me had a real fun time on that stage. We had a great sound man in Jim Howe. Thanks to all of you.
Thanks to everyone that allowed us to hang our posters in your windows.
Thanks goes out to Mark Browning at out at The Art's and Heritage Center.
Thank you Bart Freese for everything you and Sacred Heart Shool did for us.
Thanks Denise Hartsee for the article in the Miles City Star.
Trisha Warmbroad manned the donations table and made a great poster with pictures of Emily, Thank You.
Star Printing copied our posters for free.
This whole event was put on without a cent for advertising!!!! So all of the donations that people gave to us go straight into The Benefit Fund for Emily Talbot.
Thanks Again Miles City,

Chris Talbot

Because normally, a person does not advertise the donation or "advertise" their business in a situation such as this.
