25 Best Beers In America
http://mensjournal.com/fe...tbeer.html

I'm surprised to see Alaskan Amber listed - it's a good alt lager, but I'm not sure it's that good.

2008 Brewers Association World Beer Cup Winners

I see 4 Montana and 6 Alaska brews listed.

The list looks to be a little Americentric, but given the selection process I suppose that's understandable.

Wow, had to get all the way to 49 to see something I'd tried on that beer advocate list. I actually wouldn't have bought it either but the guy was like "oh you have to try this stuff I can never get it and everybody loves it (Stone Double Bastard). Was probably wasted on me because I liked it but didn't think it was that exciting. Glad to see my Rogue Chocolate Stout on there at least. They just started stocking that again at BevMo here and it made my day when I came across it.

Miles City can be proud.

The brewer of the Silver Cup winner in the 2008 Brewer's Association World Beer Cup competition for Smoke-flavored beer was Jeff Grant, son of Old Milestown brewer Larry Grant, who is now employed as the brewer at Four Peaks Brewing Company in Tempe, Az.

Congratulations, Jeff!

Dr Fermento does a pretty good job of reviewing beer at his blog:

He also writes a weekly beer column for the Anchorage Press:
