Janelle Lynn Chapman

October 12th, 1961 - February 10th, 2008

Janelle Lynn Chapman was born in Miles City, Montana, daughter of Alan and Norma (Bastian) Chapman. She was baptized into the family of our Lord Jesus Christ in Miles City in 1965. She trusted in the Savior to be with her and take her to Himself in heaven.

Janelle attended Highland Park grade school and Jr High & Highschool at Custer County District HS through her Sophomore year then moving with her family to Red Lodge Montana, Graduating From Red Lodge HS in 1980. She attended MSU then studied Travel in Oregon. She returned to Montana briefly to follow her parents to Green Valley, AZ where she worked for many years as Office Manager at the Green Valley Jim Click Dealership..

Janelle loved her family dearly and treasured her friends. With a gentle soul she enjoyed life and laughter. Even through her battle with colon cancer she remained strong, faithful and full of life. Her `big white smile' will stay in our memories always. With her big warm heart she was a friend to many and will be truly missed.

Janelle is survived by her daughter, Savannah; stepdaughter Maddie; parents, Alan and Norma Chapman; brothers, Richard (Vicki) Chapman and Bryan (Theresa) Chapman, nieces and nephews; uncle's, aunt's, cousin's and co-workers and friends. May Jesus Christ, The resurrection and the life, bring comfort, strength and healing to all who mourn her death.

Memorial gifts may be given to: Arizona Oncology (Green Valley); The American Cancer Society, or the Charity of ones choice.

- Although it has been many years since Janelle lived in Miles City, she would make many visits when possible. She loved Montana and referred to it as "Home"

Her battle with colon cancer began around Christmas of 06, she put up a brave fight. This past November they opened her up to hopefully remove a large ugly tumor off her liver & they closed her back up and said she may have 3-5 years. Our Lord had other plans and we know her heart is in his loving care and she suffers no more.

Janelle and I were cousins (we only had brother/s) so called each other sister and we were as close as any sister's (Grandpa Bastian called us his bobbsi twins) - we will forever remain 'sisters in heart'
