Dan Connors should have a brother and several sisters who have received letters for this event. One of them should know his whereabouts,

I am very sad to learn this about Brian Donnelly. Maybe check with the MCPD.

Thanks for the info. I ran into one of your classmates tonight and she said that none of you from 79 were interested in attending the All 70s. She said most of the class of 79 would rather wait and have a 30 year in 2009. Should I or should I not finish sending out letters? Is that how most of you feel? If so, I guess I have wasted alot of time on this. She said that none of you were very close with any of the other classes. Is that true? We on the committee don't mind helping and we all think that the more the merrier. We just want everyone to have a reason to get together.

I am interested in attending. I have several friends in the class of 77 & 78. Any excuse to play golf and drink beer is worth getting together for. I am also looking forward to meeting some of the others who post here... like Hal. Would also like to see some from the class of 80 & 81. The opportunity to see many others and for my wife to see some of her friends makes it more worthwhile. Just my thoughts.

Thank you. That is a reply I was hoping for. Your letter is on its way and I look forward to meeting you. I know that you will have a great time. And I will try to contact as many of your classmates as I can.

I'm curious to know if anyone from this class remembers my uncle Wes Wells, Jr. I remember coming to Miles and watching him play basketball for CCDHS when I was small. We used to visit my grandparents who lived here and being the oldest grandchild on my mom's side, I remember some things. Uncle Wes had a friend named Mark and he was a blond. That is all I remember of him. I think Mark was a pallbearer at uncle's funeral in 1985 but I'm not sure. I would appreciate any information about my uncle anyone is willing to share. I know he did drugs (who didn't) and that is what led to his downfall. I loved my uncle dearly and miss him very much. I would love to hear any stories about him or even my aunts, Glapha, Teeny and Diane (God Rest her Soul) or even my mom, Arlene Wells Crowfoot. I would love to get in touch with any of you who knew them. My mom lives here in Miles City along with my sister and her family and me and my family. Thanks.

Sharlene, I was in the same class as your Uncle Wes. I have such wonderful, fun memories of him!! We were both tall and skinny for our age so got a lot of ribbing because of that. I guess we felt a kinship there. (Wish I could still be teased for that, but alas, the years have added a few pounds!)

I will ALWAYS remember Wes's infectious grin and gentle soul. It hurt and still hurts to think that he is gone. You had quite a gem as an uncle there!

I can't believe anyone would say that about our class! We had a lot of fun with each other and also with the classes around us. I have 3 siblings that graduated in the 70's and all but one are planning on attending. I'm looking forward to it!

I have many memories of Wes. He lived two blocks from me and would come over to the house and hang out. I also remember this blond-haired fella. Sharlene, do you still live in Miles City? Unfortunately, I will not be able to come to the all 70s reunion, but I will there the following week. If you'd like to get together for coffee or something, I'd be more than happy to share some of my memories of your uncle. you can respond here in this forum, or send an e-mail to [email protected]

I remember Wes very well. He was close to anyone who wanted his friendship, which was most people. Nancy, you said it well. An infectious grin, you couldnt help but jump on board when Wes was around. In our Senior year, he wrote a few articles for the underground 'newspaper' (actually only a flyer circulated 6 different issues) called the Signal Butt. He wrote the comic strip in several issues. The first 2 issues were my favorites. It had a picture of several from our class flipping the bird at the camera which after strategically placing a photo of our principal as the target of their bird, were given time off from school.....humm. I had copies of the Signal Butt until my last move 2 years ago. Wes was an extremely brilliant and talanted individual. Now he is with the likes of John Belushi, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. There is so much we'll never know.
