HOUSE BILL NO. 645, INTRODUCED BY Greg Kmetz

This bill would make it a crime to donate blood if you have received the COVID vaccine. It would also make it a crime to knowingly administer, use, receive, ship, or transfer blood products that may contain spike proteins (covid antibodies) from the COVID vaccine.

This would require blood donation centers to ask every blood donor if they have ever received the COVID vaccine. Then either reject the donor outright or test every blood unit for spike antibodies. Then toss the blood that has those antibodies, wasting precious units of blood, and placing people's lives at risk.

Great idea Greg.

Sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internets. I should have included one of these.

Greg Kmetz certainly didn't write HB 645. As a full blown moron he is incapeable of understanding what it says or its effect. If it passes and Giantfart is sufficiently stupid to sign it Montana will have no blood supply in the event of a major traumatic event. There is no cure for stupid.

The email I am considering sending, even though I know it will be ignored.
"I realize the modern Republican party is more concerned with maintaining power through fear and ignorance than actually governing but this latest attempt to frighten people over perfectly safe medical procedures is particularly offensive, considering you represent Miles City, the home of Maurice Hilleman, the man who developed vaccines that have saved the lives of literally millions of people.
I have no idea what the point of this reprehensible bill is besides getting a few more uninformed, frightened people on your side but for the so-called pro-life party, you seem to be in favor of letting innocents die through ignorance. I know, it's to score points with the higher ups in the rightwing lunatics party because impressing them is more important than caring about the people who you aren't representing.
I haven't testified against a bill in a long time but there are several before the legislature right now that are either so offensive or so idiotic, it might be worth making the trip."

Save yourself the trip, you can testify via ZOOM. Just go to Montana.gov. Go to the box that says something like "Have your say." You'll have to sign up to testify by 5:00 the day before the committee hearing and you'll also be able to submit a written statement of about 1400 characters. Of course given the bunch of morons in Helena, while testifying, one may wonder if one may as well be whistling in the wind.

I procreateed up and approved Greg's friend request before actually looking at his page. Yeah, montana's going to go through some poop before this fever breaks, if it ever does...

A couple of weeks ago, the legislature was discussing Country Of Origin Labeling. I think COOL ought to be applied to every bill being proposed. There a heck of a lot they are discussing that ain't American. I don't understand where all of the vitriol in MT politics came from. It used to be more congenial.

After a few nutcases testified in favor, the bill died in committee because it was too stupid even for the Montana legislature. Greg kept insisting his constituents wanted him to write it but those constituents are lunatics. I considered suing one for malpractice.

For those who do not read the Billings Gazette I recommend the oped by Jim Goetz a few days ago. He pointed out some aspects to Kmetz’s HB 645 that we missed, especially the lack of reference to leeches. Goetz succinctly noted that “the bill doesn’t go far enough. Setting aside its omission of Diphtheria, Polio, and Measles, Kmetz’s bill glaringly fails to address leeches. Since the Middle Ages, the administration of blood-sucking leeches was a popular remedy for almost any malady. But Kmetz’s bill fails to provide for the hermetic separation of antibody-sucking leeches from the others. Until that is remedied, avoid leeches altogether — but consult your own doctor.”

Leeches were intentionally left out. The intent of the current party in power throughout most states is to blast society back to the middle ages. Leeches will be a very needed medical tool. After all if they cannot keep the masses under control by passing laws that result in poor medical care, inadequate education, denial and suppression of facts and history, imprisoning any deniers, and of course padding the coffers of the rich through phony tax breaks for "small businesses and families", then they must find another way to suck the life out of anyone with ideas different than the enlightened Gob Of Puss that is proposing these bills. Watch out for the rush of bad constitutional amendments that they will be pushing through with their lies.

Fox News, OANN, and the like have rotted the brains of perfectly normal Miles Citians, like feeding raw sugar to 2-year olds.

This Week magazine always has a couple of small articles about really stupid stuff being done in this country. Guess what was in This Week this week? Yup, Greg Kmetz and his catering to ignorant anti-vaxxers in order to stay in power.

You guys are ridiculous. You expect the younger generation to respect you and your thoughts and you can't even respect your peers. I'm not in to politics I'm just hereto put my two cents in and say do better.

"respect your peers". I've always been under the impression that respect is earned.

The fact that Greg submitted this bill is all I need to know. No respect earned or deserved.
