Time for another tidbit from the "archaeological digs".

The folks had this book of history on Marsh, Montana. It appears that Marsh was in Dawson, County; however, I have been unable to locate much about it (other than what is in the book which is an impressive compilation). The book says it is a first edition with a copyright of 1997.

Does anyone else remember or know anything about Marsh?

Marsh is located between Fallon and Glendive just south of the Yellowstone River, there is not much left of it.

In my never-ending search for back roads to explore, it looks like US 12 to Plevna and then a bunch of northwesterly zigzags might fill a few hours for me and my dog on the way to Marsh. I hope the weather holds up. Exploring in a downpour is much less fun.
