I hope our military supplies can reach the Ukrainians and help them take back their country.

I am pessimistic that they can hold Kiev, but I am hoping the resistance will be much more than they can deal with. Hopefully they can form a temporary capital in western Ukraine.

Finally, for those of you who still support Trump after his current backing of Putin...well, I know many of you profess to be Christians. There's a special place in hell waiting for you.

The current conservative line is that noble and patriotic Putin was forced to attack Ukraine because evil NATO was encouraging democracy and freedom and Putin had to defend himself against that.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY?

Amorette, it's simple. Trump has been "putining" it to them.

A late report indicates Ukraine has used a drone to destroy a Russian target. I wonder if Ukraine is using its own drone military weapons or another country is helping Ukraine with this modern military technology. This could be a game-changer.

There is much to be learned from Sitting Bull in how to deal with blonde invaders. We have the most technologically advanced military on the planet. It's been several days. Why the fukc haven't we dropped an ordnance down Putin's chimney?

Paul Gosar, MATT ROSENDALE, and Thomas Massie just voted NO in the house of reps on a resolution supporting the people of Ukraine.

For my entire life, there has always been the threat of nuclear nihilation from Russia. Much of the history and economy of in the 1960's was based on that threat with the radar base. I remember travelling through central MT and seeing all of the missile silos. And all we have ever done about it is say "fukc Putin" and attempt appeasement. I think we need to change our approach. I hate war. There should be a better way to rein in crusaders. But if all Putin and the powers that be understand is shock and awe, then lets get it over and come to that understanding.

Jake Tapper does an excellent of recapping out history of appeasement.

Between the Putin-loving wing of the Republican party and their fascist, nationalistic, right-wing state media, the Republicans will soon be on the attack.

https://www.washingtonpos...gop-trump/

"Many Republican base voters are dictator-curious and believe Russian President Vladimir Putin is the savior of White, straight, law-and-order Christianity; the virus of Trumpian hyper-nationalism, with its constant call to reject alliances, diplomacy, smart power and multilateral action, has deeply infected the GOP."

Hook line and sinker, first time I've accused you though, Amorette. As always I respect your historical preservation acts, but damm, do you tear, when you see what's going on. I bet I feel more than you. You are a hard ass individual. Maybe you could train troops to take out Putin better than I. Go get em girl. Both parties are not looking great. In actuality Biden is toast. I'm sure we could all have dinner together though. He may need a teleprompter to get through the ordeal, but that's ok. It's Uncle Joe.

I do not recall the fear of a past president like I see here today. You are scared shirtless! ( I meant poop less) Honestly I did hear about Obama for a while afterwards, but you guys take the cake. You publish articles about the death of conservatism. I've searched afterwards the death of liberalism. It was a fantastic article, in my mind, Wall Street Journal. I thought, why stoke the fire, just feel good that someone knows how I feel. Take it upon yourself to see that not only is conservatism dead but maybe your way of life not be all of the way you dream't it to be and fashioned as the future. Good historians with more power than I, may analyze this situation and cut short unintended consequences.

First thing this morning, glad I looked. My first thought was oh, no! Ok, I see Trevor Noah. Never been a fan. Those clips do not look good. I've so often seen out of context audio/video. It does not take but a second or two sample of a talk to totally change the perceived intent. Personally my thoughts were the "keep your enemies closer" cliche. This video disturbs me as some parts don't seem possible to be out of context for a skeptic like me. Deep Fakes are getting better. I not claiming any to be. It's just part of my process. I can understand your sigh. You guys are correct, I get on a binge once in while. Came to realization yesterday that I'm not reading half of what you say and filling the other half with what I want to hear as I picture certain posters in my mind. Yesterday evening I decided to do something about it. If this site didn't have that current politics aspect, as important as it is, I'd love it completely. I'm going to sign out today as there is nothing I really have to contribute. I best just read and converse personally. I'll still look and sigh, but will continue to enjoy my favorite parts. If I could change my username with a clear conscious, I sure would. I've done it once already so to follow the unwritten house rules to not have an opposing sharp tongue, or be a dumb ass without a hint of identity. Changing now would break that rule in retrospect wouldn't it. How about "1Moran". Clearer head this morning. Whisky River

Trump, and so many Republicans were, and are enamored with Putin, because he's not woke. Nope, not "woke", just a war criminal.

It occurs to me the Grand Oligarch Party throws the word "woke" around because they can't spell "enlightened".
