I don't think so. I regularly converse with several people who have lived in Miles City all their lives, and can assure you that not every one in Miles City are Trump-loving dummies.

The only thing I represent are my own personal views and yes,I live in Miles City.
As far as actually representing Miles City, the people who were elected that were sent to Helena recently....they did their party well.Without a doubt, the absolute worst legislative session in decades....brought to you by the New GOP-King Donald Version

With all due respect to Mr./Ms. BLT, I do not recall having designated you to speak for the town, much less for me. Since I am one of the very rare vegetarians here, the likelihood of me selecting a bacon sandwich to speak for me is slim. (Please note that I have no issues being tolerant of those who have a different lifestyle and appreciate the same treatment in return.) Yes, I post under my real name (including the middle initial since my name is common). In other words, I "own" my opinions and speech. If you are not really a sandwich, you might consider disclosing your "real" name. Just a thought.

I like to believe that I am well-read and give adequate consideration to all sides of an issue prior to forming or disclosing my opinion. In my case, it is generally on the liberal side despite the fact that I am currently a resident of Miles City. I have not always been. I served in the Army overseas, as well as being educated and employed elsewhere for many years. As for being a bully, I did have a pet bull (Jobie) for many years (he also posted here); however, his most serious infraction was kissing people when they did not expect it. Of course, I have made the assumption that you are not frightened by circuses or grocery stores (my most recent posts). If I have erred in that assumption, my apologies.

I do find the information in many of the posts on milescity.com to be well worth considering--regardless of whether the person lives in Miles City at present, or not. With apologies, I did not find much worth considering in your post--name calling generally does not impress me (particularly when it is done while hiding behind a pseudonym).

Born in Miles City, just like my mother. Grew up here. Came back. Been a bleeding heart super-progressive LIBERAL my ENTIRE life and PROUD OF IT. I also use my REAL name instead of hiding behind a non-de-plume because I am NOT ashamed of what I think, feel or say.

I am wondering, does the "B" in "BLT" stand for bacon or baloney?

Seriously, lets review... you haven't been here lately, but you are "concerned", "irritated", "pick your favorite emotion" that your point of view isn't being represented, and you want to blame those kind souls with a more progressive point of view for your cognitive dissonance? Do you understand irony?

Mr./Ms. Bacon Lettuce Tomato. I'm curious to know what statements or opinions expressed by the "far left liberals" on this site you feel are bigoted?

We said racists were racist and fascists and fascists and that insulted racist fascists.

Amorette, You have a lot to be proud of. My mother loved your writings/books as well as a great many of us. Your dedication to preserving history is more than admirable. I received a book signed by you via my mother for Christmas when she was still with us. Nice work. My subject here rather is pride. Rather than I being proud to be an American, I feel privileged. How can I be proud as I have not fought for our freedoms. I have distant relatives that have, I can only be proud of them. I feel lucky. Lucky to be where I am. I only contribute in a maintenance effort. I question you being proud of being ultra liberal. What is your final objective? Is it any different than mine. I'm not ultra conservative yet its a constant battle in my mind, am I right/wrong. I feel that other than those who reject the standard social norms, we could be one, quite easily. The left is certainly full of excuses in the metropolitan areas such as Minneapolis. There always seems to be a poke in the ribs to keep us on edged these days. Getting worse and it started before Trump. I believe it was accentuated during Obama's Admin if you care for my thoughts. Dang! We elected a black president. Celebrate! you did! I thought OK, was bummed as I had different goals for our country, but whatever. DJ

The election of competent, compassionate, capable, educated, articulate, caring, clever, good-looking, well-spoken BLACK man scared the hell out of racists. How could they look down on Black people if they saw an example of one who deserved to be admired every day. So they all crawled out from under the rocks and supported a man who was the complete opposite. Loathsome, incompetent, self-centered, immoral, dishonest, ignorant and downright vile in order to prove white people are better than Black people.

That went so wrong that they are now in hysterics, trying everything they can to keep brown people from voting . . .to keep all people from voting, really. . .in order to live in an authoritarian government that upholds racism as its baseline principle.

I just hope all those old racists die off, killed by their own ignorance, so a new generation can take up the fight for equality that I thought we were close to winning when I was young. We have made great leaps forward but we have a long, long, LONG way to go.

So, not a bleeding heart liberal but I am tired of fighting this same battle over and over and over liberal and want to take no prisoners so that kindness, compassion, equality and decency FINALLY rule in a country where voting is encouraged and everyone lives their best life.
