So there looking for volunteers to help at the border. It would be great if some of you would go down and help . That would show how commented you are with imagination. That's if you truly concerned about that. Now there's another Joe disaster in the making

Been here on my second tour of duty for the past eight years. As I look out my office window, I can see a church that was built in 1699, 77 years before there was a Declaration of Independence. Growing up in the school system you learned all about the history of the European invasion and the puritanical thought they brought. You didn't learn about the history of the southwest and the invasion of the Spanish into Mexico.

The current border issues are not a "Joe disaster". The border has been an issue since at least the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848. The saying of the locals back then was "we didn't cross the border, the border crossed us". Given the current red-state austerity policies going on in places like MT and WY, I'd be okay if the border crossed back over us.

Here is some material you can read to educate yourself on the subject:

Why are Trump supporters so afraid of everything?

Because FEAR is the basis of the modern tRumpublican party. Fear of OTHER. Brown people. People whose superstitions are different. People who prefer a different flavor of something. Because if you keep them terrified, all they focus on is the fear. They ignore being used and manipulated and lied to and exploited because they are too afraid to think.

Yes Jerry, I will comment on my imagination. I would like to imagine a world where there is no racism, no hatred of people because they have a different color skin, people that are accepted no matter their religion, a world where the wealthy share the costs and leaders work for ALL the people not just the few that can benefit them. This is my imagination and thank you for asking Jerry.

I have been posting here at Miles City dot com for a long time, and have engaged in some great discussions with current and former Miles City residents. This site has been a treasure, unique on it's own thanks to the hard work of Larry Antram. Thank you webmaster!

That said.....I do not believe that I have ever seen a post on this site where Jerry Erlenbusch is not spouting off hateful far right wing rhetoric, and instead post something for the good of this larger web-based community. Is it so hard to provide some valuable content? I suspect Don Bircholz is a conservative, but at least he provides great discussion topics (and has command on being literate).

I would like to see a kinder, gentler Jerry Erlenbusch in 2021, contributing to the greater good of America, instead of this old sorry person.

I really do feel sorry for you, thanks to my Christian upbringing.

So you're all right with drugs, human trafficking. And undocumented immigrants. And do you think that only whites are republicans. That's one of the most stupid comments you have made .

Well so far that's been your theme as long as I've been on here. It's like pot calling the kettle black. Besides you're no more part of the community then me . The only thing that keeps you on here that some people are just as wack as you.

Folks I am really going to try to quit responding to Jerry's posts. I get way to upset and frustrated with his conspiracy theories and blind loyalty to a party that couldn't care less about him unless he has become very wealthy since I last saw him. I have always tried to understand why people believe how they believe but I just can't wrap my mind around the current republican party beliefs and their followers

This post wasn't about Trump. Its about how Joe is handling the border. This is his screw up .

You can cross our borders illegally today and receive tons of benefits, but you are not allowed to visit our U.S. Capital?

Tons of benefits-what benefits? Our capital was open for all to enjoy until Trump's wacko wingnut supporters trashed it, including leaving it strewn with their urine and feces.

They got that idea from the B L M movement. But they didn't put up a wall after them?

Stupid, ignorant comment. The only reason the fence around the Capitol building exists is because of the attempted insurrection by Trump terrorists on January 6th.

I'm going to give "redmondroughneck" the benefit of the doubt here and hope he did some research on this topic. Please provide a world wide web link to the information supporting this comment. I would enjoy an actual informed debate about this topic. Thank you in advance.

I can't imagine making a moral equiveillance between protests for civil rights and an attempted fascist coup. I just don't seem them as the same thing. So, comparing the two in any context makes no sense to me. It's a false equivalence, comparing apples to oranges. It's like saying Jesus and Hitler are the same because they both had a moustache.

Don't you think BLM trying to break in to the white house would be the same thing. Of course there's the good and true double standard .

Can't your read? I just explained why I don't think they are the same thing, why there is no double standard, and why you can't compare the two. You may disagree with me, but I just explained my position.

A great deal more than, "amusing", what Holy Father GOD thinks about biden's gross ignorance of law and justice. And, how he and kamalaslut are actually laughing on TV about children, little boys and little girls, being stacked on top of each other like so much firewood in grossly overcrowded facilities on the border. GOD enabled Sampson to kill a thousand {1,000} enemy soldiers with the mere, "jawbone of an ass". Curious about what will eventually happen to kamalaslut's fat ass.

Well, it appears as though we have someone that has taken up Jerry's idiocy. The difference is that he uses his Bible and faux Christianity to insult. I wonder how he missed the part about Love thy neighbor"?
