None of the liberal protests oh I mean riots spread any of the corona virus around? That crap started long before and went on long after Sturgis. I suppose you people believe that didn't spread anything

On a per capita basis, North Dakota and South Dakota are the most Covid-infected states in the nation.

But don't let facts get in the way of your narrative.

Address what I said. The case count in ND and SD has nothing to do with the Sturgis rally. They were higher per capita that the rest of the country before the rally. My point is the liberals can have their riots and spread the virus for months on end and that doesn't make the news. Sturgis holds a rally that lasts 10 days and it is on the news that it spread covid world wide. If you are going to rail on a group gathering like Sturgis then you better rail on them all. And no I didn't go to Sturgis (never have) I did have 5 days scheduled to be at Kool Deadwood Nights but canceled due to Covid concerns. Yes I to am taking some precautions. But will also not cower behind a mask that does no good.

Ya Dave we are around 3rd, no Sturgis here, I do know some who went. altho we did have a few fairs, and even and wild horse Indian thing here in Miles City. It's getting ugly at the hospitals, hopefully we slow it down again. I have access to the residential living unit at HRH. I am being tested 2 times a week for the near short term. So far so good, and yes I wear a mask.

I did address what you said, Tom S. With facts.

And wear a goddamned mask or stay home.

Tom S, I will address what you said. The short answer is no. The BLM protests, 90% of which were completely peaceful, did not lead to an increase in COVID-19 cases. The BLM protesters, the vast majority of whom were peaceful people exercising their Constitutional right to protest, wore masks and were gathered outside with at least an attempt at social distancing, and the use of lots of hand sanitizer.

A more in-depth answer requires some critical thinking skills. There was no evidence to suggest that the BLM protests caused an increase in the spread of coronavirus. At the time of the protests, many states were attempting to reopen. If you recall, many Republican-led states opened up too quickly, completely ignoring the benchmarks for a safe reopening of the economy. This caused massive spikes of COVID infections in states like Florida, Georgia, and Texas. Could the BLM protests have added to this spike? Potentially, yes. But the same spikes were not seen in states that continued strong measures to prevent the spread that also had BLM protests. Infection rates in those states stayed the same or even decreased.

You can choose to believe facts and evidence, or whatever FOX news tells you that better fits your personal narrative.

Won't do either. If you are so scared obviously you are, you stay home. Don't expect the rest of the world to change their lives just for you. Not gonna happen.

I'm simply providing facts and evidence. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm not afraid of much. Definitely not COVID, because I wear a mask and follow simple precautions to not get infected.
