This Is A Congressional Election Year

Is it Matt for Montana or Maryland Matt for Matt? To understand how unsuitable and unfit Matt Rosendale is to be the Congressional Representative for Montana, one only needs to take a cursory look at his political history. Lest you forget, Rosendale came to Montana after reaping millions of dollars in Maryland subdividing and selling real estate. Now he thinks that he can buy and sell Montana. Since arriving here he has continually distorted the truth including his claim that he represents Montana values.

I don’t believe it is a Montana value to lie and cheat. Three years ago while running for Senate, under a penalty of perjury, he signed a document saying he was a Maryland resident in order to get a huge tax break. In that Maryland deal he made about $500,000 from the sale of realty that he claimed on his federal taxes was sold at a loss.

Rosendale lost his 2014 Republican race for election to the U.S. House. Not to be deterred, in 2016 he ran for and then assumed the office of State Auditor (Commissioner of Securities and Insurance) in 2017. Before he even had time to find the bathroom in the Auditor’s office he filed for Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Montana. He lost that election in November of 2018. Now, even though his Auditor’s term is not up until next year, he is again on the ballot for the U.S. House to represent Montana. Obviously, he longs to return to the east coast. I feel that is a great idea as long as it is not representing Montana.

We need someone with Montana values. We need Kathleen Williams as our Congressional Representative. She will work for us rather than herself in promoting healthcare, fiscal responsibility and protecting our public lands.

I am voting for Kathleen Williams happily. Matt Rosendale is a typical Republican carpetbagger.

Down ballot voting is just damned important. In many ways county commissions & school boards play just as vital a role in our lives as the State Legislature.

And the winners of the Governor’s and US House & Senate races is going to shape this State’s future for years to come

71 days until November 3
Vote Damn It!
