Here is an excellent article explaining the current anger and resentment of many hard-working Americans. The economic policy of the last 40 years has resulted in economic desperation not seen since the great depression. The failure of trickle-down economic policy has left most Americans extremely vulnerable to even the mildest of economic downturns.

https://www.theatlantic.c...om/613084/

“For too many of us, the political equality we once had won was meaningless in the face of economic inequality. A small group had concentrated into their own hands an almost complete control over other people's property, other people's money, other people's labor—other people's lives, Roosevelt said, "These economic royalists complain that we seek to overthrow the institutions of America. What they really complain of is that we seek to take away their power.”

"Roosevelt was no Marxist. He did not believe in class war for class war’s sake. But he also did not believe in unilateral disarmament in the face of oligarchy."

When the Reagan administration took over, they set out to destroy the American dream and were successful beyond their wildest dreams. Got rid of the Fairness Doctrine so Faux New could spread it's propaganda, got rid of regulations that kept Wall Street and the wealthy from taking everything, convinced the American people that poverty was a sign of immorality and only the rich were worthwhile.
Thanks, Ronnie. Thanks a lot.

Yeah yeah. SOCIALISM BAD!! We know. "Amarica" isn't a socialist country. Well, maybe there is more socialism in this country than you think. Lets just consider Custer County. Kinsey Flats project, pumping plant and the water treatment facility, VA hospital, Connors Stadium, Custer County Courthouse, Miles Community College, Ft. Keogh, all funded by socialist programs. What about the railroad land grants. The federal government gave millions of acres to the railroads. That is socialism. What about Fort Peck Lake? Socialism. Grazing cattle on BLM lands is socialism. Miles City would be a much different place without socialism. We need more of these programs in this country, not less. We need to tax corporations and the wealthy to pay for them. The middle-class should not be shouldering the burden of paying for Trump's tax cuts for billionaires that is jacking up the budget deficit and the national debt.

Do you think people today would really do that kind of work. It was meant to crate jobs. And to get owner country going again not to change our government. It's funny we were against communism now we are heading for it and don't tell me socialism is not a form of communism. watch enemies within and get back to me

If they come the proper way there's more work than can handle. they can take over for the people rioting and pay taxes so they can support them.

I just got banned from FB for saying a good chunk of Americans are idiots in response to a post on COVID-19. I was banned for telling the truth. Fortunately, I can come here and repeat it. A good chunk of American are idiots.
I miss intelligence and science and common sense. Oh, and correct spelling and punctuation.
