I wasn't aware that they named freight trains in the way that they named passenger trains.

The Northern Pacific Railway was one railroad that operated through Miles City in the 1950s. The NP named their southern Montana passenger train the North Coast Limited.

When Amtrak operated that route they called it the North Coast Hiawatha.

The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Minneapolis Railroad (aka "The Milwaukee Road") also passed through Miles City in the 1950s. Their passenger train was called the The Olympian and later The Olympian Hiawatha.

City of New Orleans

Riding on the City of New Orleans
Illinois Central Monday morning rail
Fifteen cars and fifteen restless riders
Three conductors and twenty-five sacks of mail
All along the southbound odyssey
The train pulls out from Kankakee
And rolls along past houses, farms, and fields
Passin' trains that have no names
And freight yards full of old black men
And the graveyards of the rusted automobiles

Good morning America how are you?
Say don't you know me I'm your native son
I'm the train they call The City of New Orleans
And I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done

Dealin' cards with the old men in the club car
Penny a point there ain't no one keepin' score
And pass the paper bag that holds the bottle
Feel the wheels rumblin' 'neath the floor
And the sons of Pullman porters
And the sons of engineers
Ride their father's magic carpet made of steel
And mothers with their babes asleep
Rockin' to the gentle beat
And the rhythm of the rails is all they feel

Good morning America how are you?
Say don't you know me I'm your native son
I'm the train they call The City of New Orleans
I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done

Nighttime on The City of New Orleans
Changing cars in Memphis, Tennessee
Half way home, we'll be there by morning
Through the Mississippi darkness
Rolling down to the sea
But the towns and the people seem
To just fade into the bad dream
And the steel rail still ain't heard the news
Conductors sing your songs again
And passengers will please refrain
This train has got the disappearing railroad blues

Good morning, America, how are you?
Don't you know me I'm your native son
I'm the train they call The City of New Orleans
I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done
And I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done
And I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is gone

Train Train

Oh, here it comes

Well, train, train, take me on out of this town
Train, train, Lord, take me on out of this town
Well, that woman I'm in love with, Lord, she's Memphis bound

Well, leavin' here, I'm just a raggedy hobo
Lord, I'm leaving here, I'm just a raggedy hobo
Well, that woman I'm in love with, Lord, she's got to go

Well, goodbye pretty mama, get yourself a money man
Goodbye, pretty mama, Lord, get yourself a money man
You take that midnight train to Memphis
Lord, leave me if you can
Oh, take that midnight train to Memphis
Lord, leave me if you can
Oh, take that train, baby
