When it's raining in Miles City.

They're forecasting a high of 38F for Saturday? Are you kidding me?

All of which means the Fair and the Class of 79 Class reunion will be hotter than hell, and not because I might be there.

34F and "Light Snow" but I still see some hardy souls out there enjoying the night at 1:30am on Friday night.

I was invited to go on the Smith River trip. Launch was yesterday.

Looking at the weather forecast, and knowing it was BHS weekend, I bailed on the trip earlier this week. The rest of the group (10 in all) went ahead and launched.

The way it poured all day yesterday, I'm pretty happy with my decision. Looking at the hydrograph, the Smith is currently at 1880 cfs, which beats the previous maximum flow recorded on this date by ~300 cfs.

I was one of the crazies enjoying the night Friday at 1:30AM... and alerting drunk peoples to the Miles City Live camera staring them down. One could say I had my fair share of drinking that night.
