Does anyone remember the name of the little disabled gentleman who had the clock repair, scissor sharpening business at his little house on Woodbury street?

He was John Whitbeck. He and his father lived across from Bud's Market.

The timepiece repairman was Johnny/Johnnie Whitbeck. I remember him well. I have a lady's watch he cleaned and repaired. He even researched its age, made in 1887. The story told to me: His parents realized his quick mind, yet was confined to a wheel chair, they sought training for him to become a watch repairman and self supporting.
His house, by the Milwaukee track, is no longer.

Johnny Whitbeck. I remember my mom taking my grandma's expensive watch to him to be fixed. He claimed he never had it. It did not end well.
