The best way for Trump to help farmers and ranchers would have been to not start a trade war with China. However, now that he has a big trade war going, Trump is now proposing giving billions to help struggling farmers and ranchers. My question is: Are the billions of dollars to help farmers and ranchers borrowed money? From China? To be added to the already astronomical national debt? If so, it's an odd way to "make America great again".
