The preceded in death by just about all his friends and enemies because he was old as dirt is awesome. That's how you write an obituary, people.

My condolences Larry. He certainly lived one heck of a full life.

Clyde and my grandfather were first cousins. When I grew up, there were two McFarland ranches as you headed south of town. The first was the Clyde McFarland Ranch, then a few miles later the Lynn McFarland Ranch.
My memories of Clyde were that he was a genuinely happy person. It seemed to me he was pretty much like that his whole life. He had lots of family & friends. He would help someone with no questions asked - but could also cuss up a storm if required. He was a good person and it should be celebrated that he experienced so much.
Take care Clyde.
