"Wyoming Coal Companies Only Add 5 Full-time Jobs in 2017" by Heather Richards, trib.com, March 30, 2018

(Note: Heather Richards' article was also printed in today's Billings Gazette but I could not find the link.)

Last summer, Scott Pruitt, EPA Administrator, claimed: "Since the fourth quarter of last year until most recently, we've added almost 50,000 jobs in the coal sector. In the month of May alone, almost 7,000 jobs." a Meet the Press interview – Sunday, June 4, 2017

Scott Pruitt's statement was fact checked at the time and wasn't accurate:

The inaccuracy of Scott Pruitt's statement appears to be verified by the news coming out of Wyoming.

He fits right in....and out. Pruitt is the latest in a long list of Trump appointees facing a major scandal(s). Not only has he traveled first class wherever he goes (for safety reasons) but he stayed at an apartment supplied by a lobbyist (for liquified natural gas or some such item) on the cheap. I'm guessing Trump's courageous tweet will come soon.

Trump will appoint someone like his favorite chaffeaur to head the EPA.

I'm thinking that ever since the Trump Administration gave a big tax cut to the billionaires and corporations, they need to come up with a way to generate more tax revenue -- tariffs are one way, and and another way is selling more gasoline to gas guzzlers i.e., the gas tax! (More gas sold = more gas tax revenues.) However, more gas sold also means dirty air and dirty air means more sick people who need health care -- and health care is expensive at every level. So, basically, Trump is making America great again for the oil companies but not for everybody else!

That said, let's see what the Trumpsters come up with next -- or, who gets fired next!
