The Miles City location of the Montana Rib and Chop House closed on Tuesday, January 16th, after the Health Dept. shut it down for numerous violations.

It seems that the restaurant had been struggling for some time prior to this happening.

I'm sorry to hear this. It would be nice if the place could turn things around.

Does Miles City have any place left that serves a decent steak?

I had a nice steak at the Black Iron in 2016. However, I defer to the local collective.

Likewise, the last time I had a steak at the Black Iron it was very good.

I hear it will take thousands of dollars to make that building meet code again. To bad, but that place had been going down hill for a long time.
