Oh yes, this. It's strange that whenever this gets raised, it's never mentioned that most of those wins were racked up in the era when the Grizzlies played against what would eventually become substantial D1 teams (Utah, UW, etc), while the Cats were playing at the NAIA level.
So... good job? You almost always managed to beat Montana Tech?

Yep, Stitt is out...it's for the best. Stitt has a rep as being one of the great offensive minds of the age, but he obviously didn't cut it as a head coach at this level. Wish him well, and I hope his replacement gets the Griz back to regular playoff appearances where they belong.

I thought they should have kept Stitt but forced him to hire a new DC. Like, you knew for the last 365 days that Chris Murray was going to run the ball and destroy you, and you couldn't come up with a game plan to counteract that?

Well, let's hold off on the high-fives and handjobs just yet - since they both have been in the NCAA, Montana leads the series 32-28, since they've both been in the Big Sky, Montana leads the series 30-24.

Well played on the enrollment stats David. Not sure why posting facts is a cheap shot, but I will go you one better.
Word on the street is that if enrollment gets any lower, UM will have to drop down to 8 man.
Oh and their fancy new sports complex, why didn't they just repurpose some empty classrooms and faculty offices.
