Located at the range in the Spotted Eagle recreation area behind the fair grounds in Miles City, trap and skeet are open to club members and non-members. To pay for pigeons, maintenance, etc. the cost is $4.00 per round (25 clays) for non-members, or $3.00 for club members.
Trap and skeet shooting is currently by RSVP ONLY. We currently we have one club member, Wes Foster, who is graciously volunteering to open on dates that his schedule allows, but ONLY if shooters contact him and commit to being there to take advantage of his donated time. The dates and time that he will be available to open will be posted on the Custer Rod and Gun Club's website ( http://custerrodandgun.co...and-skeet/ and will change monthly, so please check regularly to see what days he is available to open, and be sure to RSVP with Wes (see above link for contact info). As already stated, he will NOT open on the listed dates unless shooters email him and commit to attending.
Remember, Wes is donating his time to provide an oportunity for everyone to shoot. PLEASE be polite when you contact him and thank him for his efforts when you see him.
Also, any club-members who would like to volunteer to open/run trap/skeet on a given day, or organize a regularly scheduled trap league, volunteer on a committee of openers, etc. please contact the Board of Directors. Your donation of self and time would be greatly appreciated and needed.
The range/facilities are also available for private events and special pricing for non-profit organizations. Please contact the Board of Directors at least one Board Meeting before your event, to request approval of your events.
