As per this message: https://milescity.com/for...644#371822 - I added support for the Unicode character set to the site.
The primary benefit is that you can now paste text into posts without being concerned if the characters will display properly.
For example:

Another benefit, is that the site now supports emoji.
🐈 🍕 👽 ☂️ 😍 etc ...
You can use the following to search for emojis:
http://emojipedia.org/
For example, enter "heart" then pick one of the emojis, such as the one on this page:
http://emojipedia.org/sparkling-heart/
Click the "Copy" button. Then paste here:
💖
I'll add support for emoji shortcodes when I get a chance.
FYI: Internet Explorer displays emoji symbols in boring black and white. Edge currently does the same - but Microsoft has fixed the issue, however the update is still only in the fast ring. It should get pushed out to everyone else soon. Chrome and Firefox properly display the emojis in color.

This poetry contains all the sounds in the Japanese language and used to be the first thing for children to learn in their Japanese class. The Hiragana version is particularly neat because it covers every character in the phonetic Hiragana character set.
色は匂へど 散りぬるを
我が世誰ぞ 常ならむ
有為の奥山 今日越えて
浅き夢見じ 酔ひもせず
