The ice is all liquid and the cat litter I spread on it for traction is now sinking to the bottom. Someone needs to invent floating cat litter so the traction lasts through a thaw.

As you can tell, I am desperately seeking a distraction from reality these days.

Wait till tuesday then spread the kitty litter again it should stay on top of the liquid ice.

Yeah. The January thaw will be followed by the February freeze. I am going out the front door for the next few days. There is NO drainage on the back walk and it is three inches deep in water, ice and cat litter mud. Bleah.
