Jeff Bagwell, Pudge Rodriguez and Tim Raines were elected to the Baseball Hall Of Fame today.
All had great careers. But.....
Bagwell admitted to using Andro. And it was seen in his locker by baseball writers.
Pudge Rodriguez was named by Canseco (If you want to consider that source reliable?) as a PED user. Rodriguez when asked about PEDs responded "Only God Knows."
Tim Raines has never been accused of using PEDs but he admitted to using cocaine. Before, during and after games. Rather than leave the cocaine in his locker he would put it in his back pocket. He was a great base stealer and he always sled headfirst.
So is this the beginning of the PED users getting into the hall of fame.
Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens came closer in the voting this year.
