The Truth Has a Way of Showing Up!

Did you wonder that out of the large group of qualified Candidates, Donald Trump was the chosen one? I wondered how the Sanders and Clinton folks ended up in conflict...and, wondered about so much more.

I somehow had the following book pop up on amazon.com when I was checking a different book..not political either. "The Plot To Hack America: How Putin's Cyberspies & Wikileaks Tried to Steal the 2016 Election" by Malcom Nance. So..I downloaded it onto my Kindle..that day it was 99 cents.

Computer Gurus among us will find the book very interesting.

I read the book and finished last night. So worried and wondered if THEY knew and if not, how to tell them. Then..this afternoon, Esquire broke the news. The book follows it to a "T" despite its having been written before the election. One thing to keep in mind if nothing gets done in time, would be the treaties...especially NATO..

The truth does have a bad habit of showing up (but never in the MSM). Interesting how they had to hurry up and find a judge to cancel the Michigan recount when all the Democrat vote fraud in Detroit started to show up.

Gateway Pundit nails it.

All the Democrat vote fraud? From that Detroit News article:

In Detroit, 158 of the 392 precincts with ballot discrepancies had just one extra ballot accounted for either in the poll book or in the ballot box, according to the Wayne County’s canvassing report.

For suburban Wayne County, 72 percent of the 218 precincts boxes with discrepancies in the number of ballots were off by one ballot.

The other ballot discrepancies in Detroit and Wayne County precincts ranged between two and five ballots, according to the report.

http://www.newyorker.com/...mod-latest

NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Donald Trump stirred controversy on Monday by revealing that he intends to spend only half his time as President at the Kremlin—and the remainder at Trump Tower in Manhattan.

His decision to limit his time at the Kremlin reportedly stemmed from his wife Melania’s desire not to uproot the Trump family by relocating full-time to Moscow.

“It was part of the deal when he ran for President that he would go to the Kremlin and she would stay behind in New York,” a source close to the Trumps said.

Appearing on Russian television, Trump surrogate Kellyanne Conway said that Trump’s decision to split his time between Moscow and New York would have “no impact whatsoever” on his ability to function as an integral part of the Kremlin team.

“Mr. Trump doesn’t need to be physically down the hall from President Putin,” she said. “When he’s at Trump Tower, they’re on the phone with each other all day. It’s all good.”

In a televised interview later in the day, however, the Russian President expressed displeasure at the amount of time that Trump plans to be away from the Kremlin. “This is not what Russian taxpayers paid for,” he said.

Hey! Lookie here! 40% were pretty close!

Wayne County isn't Carter County and 60% of the sample subset of precincts in Detroit had ballot discrepancies most likely so significant, the Detroit News didn't want to go there. (Like the 306 ballot box with 50 ballots in it.

When they saw the extent of the discrepancy in the subset tested they were obliged to find a stooge to shut the recount down..... Before any evidence of criminal liability might surface.....

That's the amazing thing here. Michigan Law essentially states that if you find evidence of incompetence or corruption, you are required to immediately halt the investigation and let the original incompetence and corruption stand.

Apparently this has worked very well for Democrats in Michigan...except...for this year, when it didn't..

Anyone remember the close election of 1960 where the in Cook county Illinois it was reported that there were many more votes for JfK than were registered voters? RMN with all his warts, graciously conceded and did not ask for a recount. Times have changed, if your candidate lost there must have been voter fraud and or a rigged election.

In the recent presidential election one canidate won, now is the time to quit whining and unite the country.

Funny, I would have thought that ensuring the integrity of our elections would have been right up there on the "Things To Do To Show Honor And Respect For The Sacrifices Of Our Servicemen (Pearl Harbor Edition)", but I guess painting a big red star on the side of the USS Arizona Memorial will do just as well.

As far as unity goes, Your Man Trump lost the popular election by nearly 3 million votes, and yet the administration he's assembling is probably the most reactionary I've ever seen - literally EVERY cabinet pick hates the very idea of the department they're being put in charge of.

I also see that they're already proposing to increase the retirement age and benefits for Social Security for people under the age of 49 (http://www.latimes.com/bu...story.html), so I think a thank-you is in order from the greedy oldsters that I've helped keep in Depends and Hoverounds for the last 20 years, apparently, I'm not going to see any of that back.

Unity? GDIAF.

Oh look, this is the second week in a row that Mr. Trump has used twitter to crash the stock of a publicly traded company.

I'm glad he's honest, upright and, most importantly, completely transparent in his business dealings, otherwise a person might think he was using his new position to manipulate the stock market for personal gain.

Is it "all the Democrat fraud" (that allowed Trump to win?) or is it the way Michigan handles ballot discrepancies that has your panties in a bunch, OJ?

The Detroit News did report on the 306 ballot / 50 ballots in the lockbox incident and claimed that a poll worker failed to retrieve the ballots from a bin under the ballot box and put them into the lockbox before sealing it. The missing ballots were discovered when they went to pack up the polling equipment. That is simple human error.

If you leave out the silly hysterics like "all the Democrat fraud" and focus on what a mishmash our national election process is I am happy to agree with you. For example, states like Pennsylvania that have no paper trail shouldn't be permitted, but I find it hard to imagine that you're in favor of federal regulations that would impose rules on how states conduct elections.

The "explanation" is always poll workers who are all idiots and morans. We all know that story is 100% bulls**t.

Well, Mr. Schott. You tell me about "silly hysterics" when this always seems to happen in precincts that vote 95% Democrat. Google "Voting machines switching Democrat votes to GOP votes" and see how many hits you get. Democrat switch to Republican never happens. Maybe Democrats are just too dumb to check their ballot before it's cast. Or perhaps they would prefer nobody looking up their skirt on the issue of voter fraud.

Democrat voter fraud is the hallmark of the Party and their legacy as much as the KKK, Jim Crow, Tammany Hall and the Daley machine model of big city ward heelers. The latter being morphed into the likes of Acorn and Obama "community organizers". Democrats own it and it's time for them to fix it or be buried with it.

No, I do not want Federal involvement in State elections at any level. What I do want is some sort of ironclad voter ID for those who do wish to vote. Hell, even something as simple as a bottle of purple ink eliminates all the graveyard precincts and most multiple registrations. It doesn't take rocket science to begin to clean it up. All it takes is a will to do it. Something the Democrat Party would rather not engage in.

Washington State went to all vote-by-mail many years ago so it has been quite a few years since I have gone to a polling place to cast my vote. But back in the day when I did go to a polling place at a local elementary school the people working the polls appeared to be mostly retired senior citizens. They did that job maybe 2 or 3 times per year.

Now, "Oddjob", I know that you are perfect and never make mistakes, but the vast majority of humans do occasionally make mistakes. Out of the tens of thousands of polling places in the United States, mistakes are bound to happen.

The remainder of your rant ventures into tinfoil hat territory and I'm sure you can find better forums on the Internet where you can discuss your paranoia with like-minded individuals.

Jesus, what an ageist comment from such "tolerant" liberals. Most of those people you looked down your nose at have seen more, know more, have suffered more and have accomplished more than you clowns ever will.

You two still don't really grasp what just happened, do you?

Here's some tin hat for you.

All of the Democrats and all of the RINO Republicans (Democrats) just got their asses handed to them by the non-politician who ran for President. The only possible explanation for that is that the people footing the bill are sick to death of your heros.

The Clinton's, the Obama's, Reid, Peolsi, Boehner, McCain, Graham, Ryan, etc., etc., etc.

Who just did that to you? Everyone you hate.

It was Joe, the plumber. It was the Tea Party people. It was those "old bastards" you have such disdain for. It was Blacks, Whites, Latinos and Asians. It was union and even some rich people who are sick to death of liberal bulls**t.

For 65 years, the Demonrats and Rethuglicans have been taking a $20/hr job and making four $5/hr jobs out of it and calling that "job creation". Then Blacks and Latinos, Whites, Asians and everybody groveling on the edge of poverty have been forced to watch an invasion of illegal aliens take even the scraps from them.

That's who gave you Trump. Not the Russians.

Here is a poem about an "Old Crank" I thought I would share.

I'm a small child of ten--with a father and mother
Brothers and sisters--Who love one another
A young boy of 16--With wings on his feet
Dreaming that soon now--A love he'll meet
A grown son at 20--My heart gives a leap
Remembering the vows--I promised to keep
At 25 now--I have young of my own
Who need me to guide-- and a secure family home
A man of 30--My young have grown fast
Bound to each other--With ties that should last
At 40--My young sons have grown and are gone
But my woman is beside me--To see I don't mourn
At 50 once more--Babies play around my knee
Again we know children--My loved one and me
Dark days are upon me--My wife is now dead
I look at the future--I shudder with dread
For my young are all rearing--Young of their own
As I think of the years--and the love I have known
I'm now and old man--And nature is cruel
I's just to make old--Look like a fool
The body it crumbles--Grace and vigor depart
There is now a stone--Where I used to have a heart
But inside this old carcass--A young man still dwells
And now and again--My battered heart swells
I remember the joys--I remember the pain
And I'm loving and living--Life over again
I think of the year, all to few--gone to fast
And accept the stark fact--that nothing can last
So open your eyes people--Open and see
Not a cranky old man--Look closer--see ME

Ike, this is typical of your passive aggressive posts that seriously makes me worried about your mental health. Less than 48 hours ago, you were posting a weird taunt to me, to post a picture of my sainted mother, who, albeit does not meet your Republican expectations of subservience towards husbands, remains well regarded in the greater Miles City community. And now you are critical of other posters for ridicule?

One last time. You posted a photo of a shaking old man. I asked if that was the way you thought of your Dad. Rest his soul. I then asked if you had other photos of old women, that maybe you could equate to your mother. No way was I demeaning either of them. Get your panties out of a bunch and understand the original post. Questioning my mental health would be the same as me questioning the amount of "home Brew' you drink B/4 posting.

The heading of this thread, "The Truth Has A Way Of Showing Up" seems to be apropos, but for reasons not for the first intent.
The Russians have, told Obama if he has proof to report it, otherwise shut up.
The Intelligence community with egg on their face still maintain it was likely the Russians but have no proof.
Assange of Wiki leaks says the leaks did not come from the Russians but from a disgruntled member of the Clinton camp
Loretta Lynch says there is no proof that it was from Russia.

Conspiracy Theories have a way of spreading until they start to unravel. Fact from Fiction may be hard to accept from many.

Well, the truth does have a way of showing up -- this time in the official assessments of the CIA, FBI and NSA about the Russians hacking the DNC and trying to influence the election in favor of Donald Trump.

"In a report released Friday afternoon, the United States intelligence community claimed that Russian president Vladimir Putin was responsible for ordering a campaign to undermine public faith in the 2016 United States presidential election in general and Hillary Clinton’s campaign in particular."

Having lived through the Nixon Watergate investigation, (and how the Nixon Administration responded to news stories as the press reported the investigation), I feel quite confident in predicting that as the so-called "unverified and untrue" details of the Trump/Russia connection are investigated and reported, Trump will face impeachment proceedings in the near future. Either way, Putin has still won, in creating chaos in the United States.

More details are emerging in this scandalous story.

This story reminds me so much of how the details of the Watergate scandal slowly emerged. The break-in of the DNC headquarters at the Watergate happened in June 17, 1972. In the era before computers, Republican operatives were trying to find hard copies of opposition research that the Democrats allegedly had on Nixon and other Republicans. Nixon was re-elected in November, 1972, and inaugurated in January 1973. Investigative reporting by various news agencies but, primarily, The Washington Post continued from June 1972 until the facts became damning and irrefutable. All the while as the details slowly emerged, Nixon lied and stonewalled like crazy. These investigations take time but eventually the truth is known. Nixon resigned from office on August 9, 1974. It's strange seeing history repeat itself but this is way worse. Back in 1972, the Russians did not help Nixon.

The truth will be known!

Here's the latest development in the Russia connection to the U.S. presidential election.

It turns out that last summer, then Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) (now U.S. Attorney General) met twice with the Russian Ambassador during the presidential campaign; then Sessions did not disclose the meetings during his confirmation hearing. Slowly, but surely, the truth is coming out. The Russian Ambassador is considered Russia's top spy in the U.S. My opinion is that Sessions will have to resign soon just like Flynn had to resign.

The Russia plot thickens:

"President Trump’s eldest son may have profited off an appearance at an event last fall hosted by a couple aligned with the Russian government on Syria, according to new reporting.

Trump's private talks with the pro-Russia figures on Oct. 11 in Paris were reported in November, though new details about the meeting have since emerged.

Donald Trump Jr. was likely paid $50,000 for addressing the dinner at the Ritz Hotel in Paris, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday."
