I AM SICK.

My grandfather's purple heart was in a case they had in their home out on the ranch. I used to look at it frequently because it had a distinctive appearance. I remember clearly when I was old enough to really comprehend that this little medal was the symbolic thanks of our country to him in exchange for his leg.

I knew joining the Navy that my chances of ever needing to receive the same medal were slim to none, and I was happy for that.

Trump vs Hillary is politics as usual. Ho-Hum, been there done that.
