(Miles City, MT)Miles Community College President, Stacy Klippenstein, and Athletic Director, Jeff Brabant, are pleased to announce the of hiring volleyball coach, Stephanie Quigley.
MCC reinstated volleyball last spring and began the search for a coach in May this year. The team’s first full season will begin in the fall of 2017 and will consist of a full NJCAA Region IX schedule.
Stephanie joins MCC with seven years of coaching experience under her belt with this upcoming year being her first at the collegiate level. Coach Quigley is a 2005 graduate of Harrison High School located in Western Montana. She was an All-State and All-Academic volleyball player who led her team to the Class C state tournament for the first time in school history. After high school, she attended the University of Montana-Western and in 2010 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Her volleyball coaching career started in Dillon, Montana, in 2006 at the junior high level. During this time she learned the importance of teaching strong foundations and proper fundamentals.
