Job seekers of all ages are invited to Miles City Job Fair on Thursday, April 14 at the Miles Community College Centra. The event, which is free to all job seekers, will be open from Noon until 12:30 for Veterans, Military Personnel and their Families. At 12:30, the Job Fair will be open to the public.
Job Fair offers job seekers the opportunity to visit with area employers about open positions they have within their business including full-time and part-time employment as well seasonal positions. The event features numerous area employers with openings in a variety of fields such as Customer Service, Clerical, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Motel/Hotel Industry, Banking, Food Service, Welding and Sales just to name a few.
There will also be vendors in attendance with information on apprenticeship opportunities within the state. In addition, several community resources will be available to offer the job seeker the opportunity to explore educational and training opportunities.
A complete list of those Employers, Resource Agencies and Apprenticeship opportunities that have confirmed their attendance can be found at http://www.milescityjobs.mt.gov. Click “Employers Attending Miles City Job Fair” and find the list there. The list is updated as additional employers register.
All staff from the Miles City Job Service office as well as staff from Miles Community College will be on hand to share employment facts and information about individual job opportunities and to guide interested candidates in the application process. Job Seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and to arrive with several copies of their resumes or generic application along with copies of any licenses or certificates for specialty areas.
Job Fair is coordinated by Miles City Job Service and Miles Community College and receives support from the Miles City Tourism & Business Improvement District, First Interstate Bank and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
