We are trying to gather some local history about downtown Miles City. Anyone with fun and interesting facts, old pictures of the businesses and/or employees, or even just the general history of some of the businesses, please call 406-234-4064 or stop in at MC Jewelry in the old John Stockhill Jewelry building and ask for Dyna or Amanda.

They would really like some old parade photos with Dale's Jewelry or John Stockhill's in the background. So check those old BHS and Stockgrowers photo albums or slide collections.

I copied a pic of my Uncle Bill Dominy with the Crow Chiefs in front of the Strand Movie Theater in 1922. Its posted on his Find A Grave Page.

Dad told of a 4th of July in the late 1920's where they were frying eggs on the sidewalk.
