I was just reading this article about the changes underway at the Trails Inn Bar. This sounds pretty cool and like the new owners have some great ideas. I look forward to checking it out the next time I'm in town.

New owner likes flipping houses. Not sure what that has to do with running a bar..

Based on the pictures I've seen, it looks awesome. Can't wait to see it in person. I hope the residence of MC appreciate the history. Between the Monatana and the Trail Inn, you have two classic bars like no other anywhere. Most folks only dream of a drink in a classic cowboy bar of this caliber. These are one of a kind places.

They may think you are speaking a foreign language, if you ordered a Ditch

My dad always ordered a ditch and he was from Boston. He loved western vernacular. Dan Rice is a native Montanan so I don't know why he wouldn't know what a ditch was.

Not really sure what THANKSTG is saying has anything to do with this thread. Why does it matter if someone flips houses? Does that mean that they are not worthy of owning a bar?

Yeah, I don't know how running one business would help you with running another business. Something tells me the experience of paying money out, spending on a budget, and bring money in while flipping houses will help with running another business. But hey what would I know my current job has nothing to do with running a bar so I guess I am disqualified from running a bar also...
