I used to work at the Rocky Mountain Pasta Italian restaurant in Bozeman back in the early '80s and around closing time there would still be a long line waiting to get in. I was lucky to get off work before midnight. That is the best restaurant I have been acquainted with. The head cook can make or break a business.

Ah, the Rocky Mountain Pasta Company in its prime was our favorite restaurant. Steve took me there on our first date. My mouth waters just thinking about it.

Then the owner discovered the managers were adding their own personal dog food along with the restaurant pasta tomato sauce order. The managers got canned, the restaurant went to a French menu and the restaurant went downhill.

Say what? What is personal dog food?

Personal dog food is dog food for your own personal use (for your own dogs.) The owner was footing the bill for the pasta, tomato sauce, etc for the restaurant, and did not approve of buying the managers dog food that was unloaded from the truck and diverted to the managers dogs, and paid for by the owner. (Called employee theft.)

Haha. You made it sound as if the managers were adding dog food to the sauce.

Exactly, Wendy. I was thinking back to the times I ate at the Rocky Mountain Pasta Company. "It's ALPO time."
