Midrivers drops AMC.

Looking for an alternative to Midrivers now. It's not worth the cable bill after all the cuts recently.

I have cable tv in my apartment here in Baker, however I do not have it connected to my HDTV. They dropped the channels I wanted years ago, and since then I just consume my content online. TruTV is my biggest one I watch, which I know they still have, but I get it in HD online for FREE. Nearly every channel these days allows you to watch online, or through some alternate source such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video etc.

Where do you watch true tv? Do you get all the shows and all the episodes. They don't provide them on their site, neither does Discovery and DIY.

Roku + Sling + HDTV antenna

Optional: + Hulu, + Netflix

Sling includes TruTV and DIY, in their "Lifestyle Package" ($5 a month extra). AMC is included in the basic package ($20 a month).

Broadus' cable source went out of business, and the replacement antennae TV is constantly breaking up because one of the Billings Stations refuses to maintain its equipment on Sarpy Creek. All kinds of local complaints.

Mid Rivers Communications website does give some links as to where you can access programs like Josh mentions. I think they keep working on trying to please. They added ROOT Sports...wish they would add Pac-12. Did you do the Mid Rivers Survey...? They would have had to increase the monthly bill as more voted that they did not want that. Other providers will get you going for less but their bills escalate. Mid Rivers has the best customer service and that is a plus??

We went satellite years ago, when we were still in Belgrade, because the local cable provider told us they were too full to add the (then) SciFi Channel and then added four shopping channels. We picked DISH because it had the least sports.

Brought it with us when we moved here and are still using it happily, lo these many years later. The new menu is hard to read on our old TV but we know what the numbers of the channels we watch regularly and if we really need to read the menu, we can always walk closer to the TV.

Tim, I watch TruTV through the TruTV Apple App Store App.
https://itunes.apple.com/...72659?mt=8

However, I also use TruTV.com to consume their content. It has all the shows I want to watch, so I am not sure what you are trying to access.

Basically my home "cable cutter" setup is as follows:

Xbox One with Xbox Live Gold to access CBS News, NBC, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Crackle and more.

An Apple TV Gen 2 for consumption of content not available on a device other than my home PC, of which I can "Airplay" from my device of choice to the Apple TV and watch my content that way without wiring. Such as downloaded movies from iTunes or Amazon.

Currently I use Roku 3 with Playon and Hulu Subscription. I paid 30.00 to iTunes for Gold Rush season 6, but I would rather buy a subscription from Discovery, TruTV and DIY. I can watch some of the content they have just not the shows I want. I also use Crackle. I have access to my sisters Netflix, but I do not use it as it is not mine. She does pay for my login and has my name on it, but I think that was intended for one home access.

Playon and Plex, but Plex confuses me, however there are videos on YouTube. The guy has a lot of channels on it.

I have an HDTV antennae with long rang but I have never purchased a mounting bracket or pole. I am unsure if it works good or not. I struggle at doing physical stuff now, so running cable and mounting the antennae on the roof is something I do not wish to do.

Do not get me wrong, I think Midrivers is a good company and I like tha employees, but there are more channels I do not watch (2/3rds) or more, than I do so I do not like paying for them. When they got rid of Spike and its channels and moved the other channels up to a higher dollar package I counted 12 lost channels I liked.

I will look into the other options. Currenty I spend a lot of time on my friends dedicated Ark Survivor Evolved server. If anyone is interested there are free slots BTW
