Police have found the body of a woman. The discovery is linked to the body of a woman who went missing the 21 st (same day as the other carnage). http://www.kpax.com/story...-discovery

Interesting comment by the police "We were up here with Search and Rescue to attempt to locate a missing person" Sounds like someone responsible for the death told them where to look. (Or someone not responsible for the death was with someone who was responsible for the death)

"Colyer [MPD Detective Captain Mike Colyer] added that at this time there is no evidence linking Sunday's body discovery with the recent murder that happened at a Missoula motel."

The earlier reports on this missing woman said she was last seen on Monday the 21 st, now they are saying she was not reported missing until the 24 th. On the Scott Price incident in the Fresh Market parking lot, the news reported a Buck knife was found at the scene. The knife was found in Sarah's car they left behind. The correct statement is that a Buck knife sheath was found at the scene. This happened at 11:30. The news report seemed to indicate that a few minutes later the police discovered a body in a hotel room. The police did not discover the body, the hotel staff discovered the body and called police. And it was not a few minutes later, it was 12:50 when the police "discovered" the body.

Sounds about right from what I have read, Don.

Price and McKnight stabbed that woman in the Fresh Market parking lot probably in a failed attempt to steal her car. They then drove across Brooks Street to the Super 8 Motel where they ultimately abandoned their (McKnight's) Honda Accord. They murdered the motel employee and stole her 2009 Chevy Malibu.

Someone at the Fresh Market who witnessed the attack on the woman there had managed to snap a photo of the Honda Accord as Price & McKnight fled the scene.

The Missoula Police had a pretty good idea that Price & McKnight had abandoned their old car at the motel and took off in the motel employee's car. With a good description of the car the two were in, it made the job of tracking these two down much easier.

I would like to know who picked up Price in Miles City and transported him to Great Falls where he allegedly hitched up with McKnight. There could be at least one more person out there who should be in jail.

There is still some confusion as to how they got caught. There was a woman who gave them a lift from where their "stolen car" was to another motel. Either the woman who gave them a ride or the motel desk clerk alerted police and should get the reward money. I think the police interviewed the lady who gave them a ride and it sounds like she should get the money. They have recovered the red stolen car, but it was not at the motel they were staying.

Yes, there seems to be confusion as to who gave Scott a ride to Great Falls. In rereading the testimony, Sarah said she met Scott in Great Falls (which rules out her driving Scott to Great Falls), and Scott has said he met Sarah in Great Falls, and also that Sarah drove him from the motel or hotel, in Miles City.( Seems fishy.)

Sarah said she was in Great Falls for a court action. Did she go? Why would someone on the run go to a court proceeding? Why was she in Great Falls for a court action?

The link below is to an article that states the woman's boyfriend is now a possible suspect in the case.
