As a proud American, my next president will be whomever fulfills the criteria for election prior to January of 2017.

I'm no traitorous insurrectionist, unlike some around here.

I'm still trying to decide on Christmas presents for 2015.

Presents take precedence over presidents.

Charlton Heston is still my president, even if he's six feet under.

I am going with the Donald. You can bet that after obama is out of office, Isis will be taken down, and these mass shootings will hardly be heard of. We will all be much safer after Trump is in, Ok now you can make fun of this and show your ignorance.

They aren't crazy. And they also support things I believe in, like bodily autonomy for women and healthcare for all. Nobody in the Clown Car believe in anything I believe. . .including reality.

It's nice to see the viciousness returning to this site. It's been kind of boring for a while. Politics brings out something in people. I tend to be liberal minded
but both sides on these issues have something in common. To tell the other side
what dumb asses they are and won't listen to differing opinions.

I am a socialist. And a liar. On occasion.
However, I am not a narcissistic egomaniac with delusions of grandeur and a bad combover. I also believe in healthcare as a right; more regulation on guns; bodily autonomy for women, raising the minimum wage, voting rights; and any number of issues that make the clowns in the GOP car barf. So I don't have a lot of choice.

Just as I expected, the bullies on miles city.com have showed their real intentions. You 4 or 5 think that you can sit behind your computers and address most of the topics that are presented here as if you are the leaders of Miles City. In all reality none of you speak for Miles City as a whole. So for those that either comment on a topic or post your own topic, dont worry what the bullies say, cause their opinion means very little. These are the same people that voted for Obama and are voting for Clinton. Stay strong Miles City.

So you think YOU speak for all of Miles City? I think that most of MC's residents are capable of speaking for themselves and they do so on this site with regularity. No one here has ever claimed to represent Miles City.

Some of the trolls dont even reside in Miles City but yet think they know whats best for Miles City. You can bully all you want ,like you done with Mr Shipley which some of you can thank yourselves for almost putting him over the edge. It must feel good to prey on the weak. Miles City will change regardless of what the trolls think. True everybody has their own opinions and can freely express them however at some ones elses expence not the community way to do things. Regardless of the bashing I am voting for Trump. I will also be supporting our new mayor. So with out further do, let people comment on who they will be voting for or thinking about voting for and leave it at that.

Please give me your definition of socialism.

I believe in healthcare as a right. I don't believe we should value guns over life. I believe in bodily autonomy for women. I believe we should care for those who need help. I believe we should force corporations to pay living wages to their employees and stop gouging the shareholders for the CEOs. I believe we need to tax the wealthy to pay for infrastructure repair, which will provide jobs. I believe we should deal with the reality of what is happening to our climate. I believe we should stop one side cheating by expanding voting rights and making gerrymandering illegal. I believe we should stop war profiteering by those in power by making the military accountable for their spending and I believe we should cut the military budget until it makes sense. I believe we should provide for the veterans whose lives are disrupted by those war profiteers and not fund one more military boondoggle until those veterans are cared for. I believe we should seek peaceful solutions and stop waving our big swords around to prove we are "manly." I believe in kindness, compassion, having a conscience, and dignity for all. Even brown people whose superstitious beliefs are different from the majority.

Anyone in the Clown Car offering that?

I was hoping this thread wouldn't lead to just insult slinging, but so be it.

Honestly, it would just be wonderful if people actually take advantage of their right to vote, regardless of to whom the vote is being cast to.

If more people take notice of the political environment and join the conversation, the better we will be as a nation.

I personally think that voting should be mandatory... but that's just my opinion.

I hate to think of the masses of uneducated voters, but I'd also love for there to be a push to be involved.

That's all.

And, not to derail this thread further, but how can someone accused of rape refuse to appear in court? If it gets to that point, shouldn't they already be in custody?
