Scary Things for Halloween

I really wanted to be something scary this year! Mom and I decided I could be FrankenJobie. Sometimes, things don't work out quite like you plan in life. I was very good while she applied the $1.98 easy to remove green makeup from WalMart. My bolt, however, simply would not stay affixed. Being flexible, we decided that since The Incredible Hulk is green, I could be a superhero instead! Mom took lots of photos just to be certain she had a good one. That done, she brushed me to remove the green makeup. It didn't come off. I was still green. She wiped me with a towel. Still green. She washed me. Still green. She got warm water with Dawn dish detergent (thank you Lindsay) and scrubbed me some more. Finally, I stood in the corner because I had had enough. I've never been overly fond of baths (I AM a boy, you know). For four days, I had green highlights! SCARY stuff! The moral, of course, is don't cut corners on your Halloween makeup unless you REALLY want to get your money's worth!

Love,
Jobie

Glad you enjoyed Jobie's missive, Betty! Truth be told, Jobie remains a real softie and doesn't really want to scare anyone! Even when he was a vampire, he was a Vegetarian Vampire.

Hope you have a wonderful Halloween and watch out for green easy to remove makeup!
