I was near Moon Creek and noticed smoke south of MC, I remembered that I had heard on the radio they were going to be doing a controlled burn. But for the life of me cannot remember where they said they were doing it. And if there is anywhere online that has information on when and where they're doing controlled burns, I'm not successful in finding it! Just curious if anyone on here knows if it is indeed the controlled burn I heard about this morning and if so where exactly it is? Thanks!

There is a lot of smoke north of Broadus from a house that caught on fire near Broadus. Must have been a dozen or so units fighting the fire.

Two controlled burns were being done that day. One was done by the BLM between Ismay and Mildred. That would be the one you were informed about on the radio. The very large column south of town was at the Beaver slide ranch. They were doing some "controlled" burning down there as well. No fire department was involved so it stayed controlled. Although I know there were several nervous people around.
