Bob Brown out of Baker, MT. will be holding a Dog Days Silhouette shoot at the Custer Rod and Gun Club this Saturday, Aug. 8th. He tells us that a portion of the proceeds will be split between the Wounded Warriors, and the local Miles City Foster Parent organization.

If you are interested in competing in this metallic prairie dog shoot, you can find more information on his site here... http://www.shootdogdays.com/

For everyone else, the Custer Rod and Gun Club's 200 yard rifle range and some of the pistol bays will be closed all day Saturday for the shoot, and part of Friday afternoon for the setup. The 100 yard range and some of the pistol bays will remain open for member's use throughout the weekend.

I'm told that you can register for the shoot Saturday morning before 8:00 AM. So it's not too late to get in if you have been thinking about it. Looks like lots of fun!
