Windows 10 arrives tomorrow as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8 users. It also features the return of a new Start Menu. Here's a video about that ...

I'm going to wait for Service Pack 2 for Windows 10 before I migrate from Windows 7 on my computer at work and the VM on my Mac.

That will be a while then, since Service Packs are gone. Instead, Windows 10 constantly updates itself as part of the "Windows as a Service" concept.

Took me a while to get used to some of the new stuff and get it customized the way I want, but overall I decided it's an improvement.

If you don't like it, you have 30 days to "undo" and revert back to your previous version of Windows.

The core part of Windows seems to be more rock solid than ever. Some of the newer additions seem a bit clunky/unpolished/unfinished - but I guess there will be a steady stream of incremental updates to resolve that.

Wow, that little video just helped me but I do have some issues that are simple but just not for me. Do you know who could sit down and help me for a about an hour some day soon.

I can't help you with the sit down (perhaps someone else here can though), but if you have any questions -- feel to post here -- I've been using it enough now that I've pretty much figured it out.

Wow, I just found out 10 won't work with my kodac all in one printer. I'd had problems after the install but now I can't print at all. Plus I haven't a ubs for the printer anymore since we went wireless.

Help me decide what to do?

Should I uninstall and so back to 8 and hope my printer will reinstall there?

10 is going to start charging for office and all the other things that we already have with 7&8 aren't they?

I really liked 10 it ran so smooth and was fast but don't have the knowledge to do all this tech stuff. I only sell with an ebay store so I have to print. Do my bills, email, pictures, surf and games.

Guess I answered my own question, I'm uninstalling.
